The Heimerle + Meule Group is a traditional group of companies that plays a leading role in the European precious metals sector. Its business operations have expanded since the acquisition of Cookson Precious Metals Group in 2013: Five additional subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal have joined the managing company in Pforzheim and its subsidiary in Austria. The division has four production sites, including two modern precious metals separating works at the Pforzheim and Madrid sites, where precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, and palladium) are recovered to the highest degree of purity. Also manufactured there are customer-specific precious metal specialties, valuable semi-finished products in the form of tubes, rings, plates, strips, wires, dental alloys, blanks, and bars, as well as complex CAD/CNC products.

 

A company of the Heimerle + Meule Group has LBMA accreditation from the London Bullion Market Association, a seal of quality and approval that is particularly significant for the trading of investment products.

  

Heimerle + Meule can look back on a long corporate history. Founded in 1845, the company is regarded as the oldest gold and silver refinery in Germany. Heimerle + Meule has been part of the Possehl Group since 1960. With the acquisition of Cookson Precious Metals in 2013, the company expanded significantly both geographically and in terms of products. Currently, a staff of about 750 is employed in seven European countries.
